Eerie Stories, Legends and Lore Tour starts Oct. 4

I am excited to announce that Tour Erie’s Eerie Stories, Legends, and Lore tour will start on October 4 and run every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. through the end of October. The last week of October, we’ll offer a special Monday and Wednesday night tour as it’s Halloween week!

Tours will start and finish at Voodoo Brewing, 101 Boston Store Place (on State between 7th and 8th Streets). Voodoo was happy to partner with us to offer you a warm, dry place to start and finish, access to restrooms, and, for those over 21, the chance to sample a special brew. They will also offer tour participants discounts on food, so plan to stay for dinner!  (NOTE: Voodoo is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays, so the tour on Oct. 28 will meet out front of the restaurant).

The Eerie Stories, Legends and Lore tour is about 1.5 miles long and will take us about 90 minutes, walking at a slow pace, with frequent stops and opportunities to sit.

What will we cover? A little bit of everything — some Erie history, true crime, old crime, haunted buildings, reports of apparitions, and more!

Cost is $17 for adults, and $10 for kids, but it might be best for adults given the subject matter!
